A clear explanation of how ApexDoc handles account, conversion, payment, analytics, and support information.
1. Scope
This Privacy Policy explains how ApexDoc handles information when you visit the website, create an account, purchase conversion credits, or use the bank-statement conversion tools. ApexDoc is a document-conversion utility and is not a bank, accounting firm, tax adviser, or legal service.
2. Information we receive
We may receive account details supplied through sign-in, basic usage and conversion-credit records, payment status supplied by our payment provider, support messages, device and browser information, approximate usage information, and technical logs needed to keep the service secure and reliable. Do not upload documents you are not authorized to process.
3. Uploaded statements and PDF.co processing
When you submit a statement for conversion, ApexDoc transfers the file through HTTPS to PDF.co for automated document extraction and regex-based field parsing. PDF.co, rather than ApexDoc, operates the processing infrastructure. Retention, temporary storage, logs, backups, and deletion are governed by the active PDF.co configuration and applicable provider terms. ApexDoc does not describe this workflow as local-only processing.
4. How we use information
We use information to provide conversions, return generated files, manage credits and payments, respond to support requests, prevent abuse, diagnose failures, improve document compatibility, comply with legal obligations, and protect the service and its users. We do not use an uploaded statement to provide financial advice.
5. Payments
Payments are handled through the configured payment provider. ApexDoc may receive transaction identifiers, plan details, payment status, and limited billing metadata, but payment-card credentials are handled by the payment provider under its own privacy and security terms.
6. Cookies, analytics, and storage
The site may use essential cookies for authentication, security, preferences, and session continuity. Analytics tools may collect page views, referrers, device characteristics, and interaction events. Browser storage may be used for non-sensitive preferences or usage counters. Do not treat browser storage as a secure document vault.
7. Sharing and service providers
We share information only as needed with infrastructure, authentication, analytics, payment, email, and document-processing providers; when required by law; to protect rights and safety; or during a business transfer. Providers may process data in jurisdictions different from your own.
8. Security
ApexDoc uses HTTPS for data transmitted between your browser and the service. Security also depends on provider configuration, account credentials, device security, logs, backups, and operational controls. No internet service can promise absolute security or zero retention.
9. Your responsibilities
You are responsible for confirming that you may upload the statement, selecting the correct document, protecting downloaded XLSX files, reviewing every extracted row against the source PDF, and obtaining professional advice for tax, audit, regulatory, or financial decisions.
10. Your choices and requests

11. Children and changes
